Report
Scans can take a few minutes. Keep this page open. Your report stays in this tab and clears when you leave; download it first.
02 / YOUR RESULTS
Your website, in focus.
A practical view of the checks completed and what to improve.
Automated checks cover discoverable, accessible HTML up to your page limit. They do not confirm Google indexing or provide complete backlink, ranking or JavaScript-rendered content analysis.
UNDERSTAND YOUR WEBSITE
What is a website SEO audit?
A website SEO audit reviews the technical and on-page elements that affect how search engines and people experience your pages. It helps you find issues, understand their impact and decide what to improve first. A useful report gives you specific findings and next steps, rather than just a score.
Highbav’s free SEO audit tool is a starting point for that review. Enter your URL to check accessible pages, examine common on-page issues and request mobile and desktop performance results. Use the findings to plan changes, then check the pages again after you make them.
What does the free SEO audit check?
01 / ON-PAGE SEO
Titles, descriptions and headings
Find missing title tags and meta descriptions, review title length and check H1 usage. The report also flags duplicate titles and descriptions across scanned pages so you can review pages that need clearer, more distinct information.
02 / TECHNICAL SIGNALS
Status codes, redirects and canonicals
Review the HTTP response and redirect chain for each scanned page. Look for page errors, missing or mismatched canonical tags, and noindex directives that deserve investigation. A directive is a signal to review, not automatic proof of a mistake.
03 / DISCOVERY
Robots.txt and sitemap access
The crawler checks robots.txt permissions and looks for a sitemap. It uses same-website links and URLs from the first sitemap to discover pages within your limit. Pages blocked from crawling or unavailable to the tool are reported as skipped.
04 / PERFORMANCE
Mobile and desktop page speed
Google PageSpeed Insights supplies Lighthouse lab results for the submitted URL. Review performance, accessibility, best-practice and SEO scores alongside available measurements such as Largest Contentful Paint, Cumulative Layout Shift and Total Blocking Time.
05 / PAGE CONTENT
Image descriptions and readable HTML
Identify images without alt attributes and pages with little readable HTML. These findings prompt a closer look at accessibility, content usefulness and rendering. A low word count alone does not mean a page needs more text.
06 / STRUCTURED DATA
JSON-LD syntax
See whether the crawler finds JSON-LD blocks and whether they contain invalid JSON. This is a syntax check: it does not validate every schema property, confirm Google eligibility or guarantee a rich result.
How to use your SEO audit report
Start with important pages. Use a homepage, service page or key landing page as the starting URL. Choose a page limit that fits your first review.
Confirm the issue before editing. Check error responses and unexpected noindex or canonical signals first. Some exclusions and redirects are intentional.
Prioritize changes by impact. Fix problems affecting important pages and user journeys before spending time on low-impact warnings. Review speed opportunities with your developer.
Retest and monitor. Run the tool after changes and use Google Search Console and your analytics to assess indexing, search traffic and conversions over time.
YOUR QUESTIONS, ANSWERED
Website SEO audit FAQs
Is the Highbav website SEO audit free?
Yes. You can submit your URL, name and email, run the automated checks and download the results without paying. Marketing emails are optional; select the opt-out checkbox if you do not want to receive them.
How many pages can I audit?
Choose a limit of 10, 20 or 50 pages. The tool checks accessible pages discovered from same-website links and the first sitemap. It may scan fewer pages when discovery is limited or the website blocks access.
Does an SEO audit improve Google rankings?
An audit identifies potential improvements; generating a report does not change your website or guarantee higher rankings. You need to verify findings, implement suitable fixes and measure results alongside content quality, relevance and other search factors.
Can I download my SEO audit report as a PDF?
Yes. When your scan finishes, choose Save as PDF to open your browser’s print dialog, then select its PDF destination. You can also download the report data as JSON. Save the report before leaving the audit page.
Why might page-speed results be unavailable?
Google may be unable to reach the submitted page or complete the test, or its API quota may be reached. The report shows unavailable speed results rather than inventing a score. Other completed HTML checks remain available.
How often should I run a website SEO audit?
Run an audit after a redesign, migration, major content update or technical change. Repeat it when you notice indexing or performance problems, and choose a regular review schedule that reflects how often your website changes.
Will my report be stored or emailed to me?
Your report stays in the current browser tab and is cleared when you leave or start another scan. It is not stored on Highbav’s server or attached to the acknowledgement email. Your name and email remain with Highbav’s email provider as explained in our Privacy Policy.
